| Friday afternoon, September 27; what a surprise! On the yew bush at the foot of our front steps appeared this northern waterthrush. It flitted busily from branch to branch and even explored the concrete at the foot of the steps befor flying off when alarmed by a car that drove up the street. The is only the second bird of this kind I've seen. |
