... while I was still holding the lenses on the front of the camera, this juvenile cardinal appeared on the other side of the feeder. Neither bird stayed long enough for me to take more than one picture. The male cardinal has not yet allowed me to take any pictures of him (most of the time, he shuns the feeder itself and instead picks up seeds that have spilled on to the ground below the feeder). |  |
