This is a Maribou Stork, also from Africa. The zoo had plaques describing each of the exhibits and, at first, I tried to take pictures of them to save making notes.
As time went on, I became less disciplined, so I owe a vote of thanks to Michael Frankis, a bird enthusiast from Newcastle, UK, for identifying many of these birds. |  |
