This dead tree looms over my neighbor's yard. I glanced up and saw that two birds were perched on it. I think the small one is my friend the house finch. The larger bird is probably a starling. Note that the two enlarged images are taken from a different picture; that's why the birds don't have quite the same pose in the blow-ups as in the main picture.
