Here's a closer look at the gazebo on the park behind the Clarkson. I recall that on our first visit to Potsdam in the summer of 1997, we walked around this park eating ice creams that were struggling to maintain their consistency in the sweltering heat. I think that was the only time we experienced such weather in Potsdam, where the snow starts in October and doesn't disappear until May.
