And there, just along the path was another frozen chipmunk. Pam had come across this one who was also uttering occasional peeping noises. All of this chipmunk activity happened within a few yards of the visitor center. We then went on a mile-long walk during which we caught sight of a woodpecker, but weren't able to get a picture, and then we were back at the visitor center...
