Falcons

These are, in my experience, solitary birds. I’ve only once seen more than one at a time, and it is rare indeed that I can predict encountering one. They just pop up and it’s up to me to capture their images before they move on. The Peregrines have proven the easiest because they find a perch and just wait allowing me to get quite close. Merlins and Kestrels have been less easy to find, although both species showed up in Weltz Park during April of 2021.
