This grouping includes many species that spend almost all of their lives way out over the ocean and so I'm unlikely to get photographs of them. There are Pelicans to be found in New Jersey and Double-crested Cormorants are ubitquitous. I've heard reports of Great Cormorants but I've only ever seen one in England. In late November 2014, the Northern Gannet was added to my life list when I saw an adult and a juvenile on consecutive days.
