All the while I was taking the shots of the cowbirds, I was in the shade of a tree. From within the tree there was the most amazing sequence of tisking and tutting. I peered into the tree and there was a catbird.

The longer I stood by the tree, the more agitated it became to the point where it started coming out of the tree as though to challenge me. The result was this marvelous picture opportunity. It's presented here at half size. The next page in the sequence has the full sized shot (720 x 800), presented with no further commentary.
